Time flies like an arrow.
Fruit flies like a banana.
Coyote flies to the rescue with a vacuum cleaner.

Based on a true story.

The last few days there has been a steadily growing funk in our kitchen.� It wasn't the garbage or the unwashed dishes.� There was also a steady increase in the number of fruit flies meandering about the house.

Just after getting home tonight I found the source of both miseries:� A sack of potatoes that had gone off without us noticing.� Unfortunately, my eagerness to get rid of the bag unleashed a previously unseen colony of tiny, fast bugs unto our kitchen.

Swatting proved ineffective, but then I remembered the hose extension on the vacuum cleaner....
