Oy. Let me tell you, illness and flu medication make for some wierd associations.

Take this piece, dashed off as fast I could go before the soothing sleep of Neo Citran could claim me. It's not very polished, but in it I see elements of many themes. From the Sgt. Pepper jacket on the villainous fox to the studded Flash Gordon outfit of the hero, to the ill-disguised homoeroticism at the core of so many classic superhero relationships. The former represents whimsy and femininity sneaking up on the most macho of men.

The latter is represented by the proximity of the fox's crotch to the wolf's hindquarters, and the straps that define and direct the eye to the wolf's groin.

The lesson here is over-the-counter cold meds are excellent bullshit enhancers.
