So what does the title of this image have to do with anything?

Well, I started this sketch on Friday, then abandoned it as too boring. Come tonight, I find myself staring at the paper with not a clue what to draw. It was just after midnight, and I was all blocked up.

So I started trying to pound this sow's ear into a silk purse, or at least a passable leather wallet.

As time wore on I thought, "Hey, I just bought a three-foot t-square, let's get some more perspective practice in." Why not? I'd already put the figure in position for it.

Between that and frequent pauses to blow my nose (yay, it's pollen season!) the clock eventually hit 2 am.

Which promptly became 3 am, thanks to Daylight Savings. ARRRRRRGH.

Anyhow. Fox, background, pose, bleagh. Weekends=bad art.
