Vata did not start out a male concubine... at least not in the way I've ended up portraying him.� The fennec was a belly dancer.� The fox was a belly dancer.� Somewhere along the line I slipped into reffering to them as a 'harem' and things have gotten out of hand (to me) since then.
I've never given any real thought to who runs the place, or the clientele.� Hell, there's only been an audience what, twice?�
If I ever get a story going about these guys, I think I would be wise to focus on the dancing.� I really haven't got the nerve or desire to write stories set in the world of male concubines.
