An attempt to apply some of the tips I was given last week, failed. Not for lack of talent or anything, just for sheer lack of time. The left arm, in particular, is a waste of time... it was supposed to be foreshortened, but the pose ended up being far too difficult and I wasted a lot of time trying to get it done. I had to give up for sleep's sake.

Looking back, I've been rushed off my feet for most of this month, and the work is really suffering. I don't like that, but I also don't like having no time for anything else.

I need to shift my drawing time. As it stands now I start it late, late at night. The hourglass is always half-empty before I begin. I should shift my drawing to earlier in the evening.

Assuming I get the chance to implement this idea, we'll see how it works out.
