So this is what I spent a couple hours doing tonight... designing sprites and backgrounds for an Atari game that may or may not ever be programmed. But it was fun.
The premise is that you are a lumberjack, hired to fell a deadwood forest. But there is a reason the trees are dead... nuclear waste! Or demonic possession, I haven't decided. The forest is out to get you. Spastic squirrels, flying squirrels, pigeons, bats (not pictured), bears, DEAD bears, and finally a huge fire-spitting demon owl.
Not all these enemies appear onscreen at once, but I felt like showing off.
I really hope I get a chance to see this made. :)
