I've been slowly, slowly working through the PS2 version of Okami for more than a year now... an hour here, an hour there...
It's a fantastic game, I just keep getting distracted by other things like art and tv and life.
So now, after 15 hours and one year, I finally laid the beat down on what I thought was the final boss. There was a climactic cutscene, and a victory speech. I even got the RPG standard "return-to-first-town-for-fireworks and-inane-congratulatory-chatter" ending that's been a staple since freaking Dragon Warrior.
At no point did anyone mention that there is still HALF THE GAME to go through.
At this rate I'll be done by 2009.
