I ended up near an art supply place today. Woolfit's, down on Queen. For no reason at all I refer to it as Wolfbits.

So anyway, I went to Wolfbits with the intention of buying some sienna, both burnt and raw, since I had neither. I came away with more sienna than I am likely to ever use. Unless I start painting PEI. Burnt sienna is the perfect shade to put me in an island frame of mind.

This is not a painting of PEI. PEI has no mountains. Not even across the water.

Anyways, having the burnt sienna meant I could fix the damn dirt on this painting. One thing led to another and boom, I ended up redoing the sky and water. It's now less finished... I haven't yet gotten around to redoing all the foilage.

I like this better. It's a MUCH more solid foundation.
