Banged out in about fifteen minutes after I blew too much time on a failed Photoshop experiment.

Inspiration continues to elude me. My only recourse in times when the muse isn't talking is to experiment and shake up my technique.

It's reached a point where I have begun to question my pencil-holding technique. This actually isn't as desperate or silly as you (or I) might think. The way I hold my pencil, especially for details, is so close to the tip that it obscures and smudges what I draw. It's also wrist-intensive and uncomfortable over long periods.

So, yeah... this was drawn holding the pencil far out and swinging from the elbow. It's nothing special but I learned something.
