Wow, what a change in tone from yesterday!
Today I picked up a few volumes of an old favorite manga of mine:
Battle Angel Alita (or
Gunnm for you purists). It's a very gritty, grungy, cyborg epic. I love it dearly, mostly for the beautiful artwork and unbashed violence.
Anyway, reading it again after so long left me wanting to draw some futuristic armor. Conveniently I have some characters that live in a futuristic world. Hurrah! An excuse!
My armor needs a lot of practice. Apart from the fact that the torso is organic and the limbs angular, I also had to erase his right knee three times before I finally got something passable. Gah.
