He emerged from the lodge, shaken and exhausted. His vision had no entirely left him; he still felt half a phantom. He was led to the fire and handed his spear of manhood. Smiling grimly, he tore the childish token from his chest and began his Fire-Dance.

#4 in the series. There's a story developing with this young wolf that I am not sure what to make of. I know how his trial ends... but I'm not sure how to depict it. And the trial's end would only end up the beginning of a tale I'm not sure I can tell.

Enough crypticness for now. Apologies for the quality of the scan. My scanner and sketchpad are not very compatible.
