This poor fellow hasn't had a damn thing go right since his rite. First the muddy river plants and now this. It's sure making him mopey, whatever it is.

This was an experiment with a few new toys I picked up: a graphite lead holder with extra thick leads (in both H and B hardness) and some spray fixative. I've held off on shading and texture a lot because I'm paranoid about smudging. With the fixative I hope I'll feel more inclined to dabble in it.

It is clear that I still need more practive at it, however. This was a little rushed overall, and I didn't have any reference. It's dodgy. But it will do for an experiment.

New!
