Paradox:
In answer to your question of yesterday, there are several key points to keep in mind if you want your anthro to skew more animal than human.
The obvious is the legs and hands. Where appropriate the legs should mimic the form of the animal in question. The paws should also mimic the animal's. In the case of a raccoon, which has handlike paws anyways, it's pretty easy. Depending on the beastie you should lengthen or shorten the digits and give them appropriate claws.
More difficult and subtle stuff include shortening the torso and making the arms a little longer to give the impression of something short and fat that runs on all fours. The shoulders should be narrower, since most animals have no collarbones. Look at bears standing upright, how the shoulders slope.
The neck is swung further forward and the attaches higher on the back of the skull than a human's or a furry's.
In the end it's all a matter of proportion. Start at the animal and slide slightly towards human. Get photo references from Google and go to town.
I tried to incoporate this advice into the picture... I dunno if it worked. Two drunk furs in as may days... ack. :)
