Arren surveyed the plains again, saw the same nothing, and sat down heavily. It jarred his hindquarters, but the shock helped him keep his eyes open.

He hated sentry duty. It was not as pointless as meditation, but it was at least as boring. It hadn't the thrill of the fight or even the urgency of stalking the prey. There was no cunning in it. You just sat, watched, and hoped something happened.

I draws what I likes, and I likes wuffies in loinclothes.

Interesting points about this one... first, that's probably my best stone spearhead yet. Research is paying off! Second, while I did use a reference, I had to slim it down considerably. Arren's a big boy, but the model for this pose was about 300 pounds of solid muscle!
