The vulpine tribes of the extreme north are a short, stocky, and very, very fuzzy people. Their small stature and furry, pup-like appearance belies their cunning and fierce will to survive.

Their fur is extremely dense and long, enabling them to withstand even the coldest of arctic days with minimal shelter or clothing.

The hunter shown here has just killed a seal-fish with his whale rib spear. While fresh meat like this is preffered, the northerners won't stoop at scavenging, either.

Their motto is "Do the best you can with everything you find."

On a technical note... not referenced, but a pretty standard pose. The thing that I like about it is the floofiness. Arctic foxes are so furry that even their paws are covered in thick fuzz. Basically I drew this guy without fur, then added an extra layer of thick fluff to the outline. It works.
