It's not terribly original. Okay, it's a freaking cliche. But it makes me giggle. That may partly be due to lack of sleep, I dunno.

I ended up very sleep-deprived today because I had a very wierd hallucination/dream that snapped me awake an hour and a half early. I distinctly heard four knocks, the sound of someone knocking on glass. I thought at first that someone was at the door downstairs... but who could it be that early in the morning?

Then I realized it must have been my imagination, because I sleep with earplugs and could not possibly have heard such a noise.

Unless they were outside my window somehow. My second storey window.

You know how an idea like that can grab you in the wee hours and keep you awake? Well, guess what.

I debated putting this into either Practice (it started just as me sketching the bones of the hand) or Holidays (because I went all living dead with it.) I've decided on Holiday.

My favorite thing in the whole sketch is the maggot. Poor little guy.
