Something sort of different today.
I had no real plan for this, apart from 'draw giant robot'. Then I figured I'd give it a sort of wolf face instead of the usual bland hero face sported by most giant robots.
Then I made it all round and covered in sweeping chrome bits that I'll never, ever be able to draw from another angle. That right arm is atrocious. On the other hand, I do like the way some parts turned out, like the sword, or the chest design. There are only a few small hints (the bolt in the shoulder, for example) that it's a robot and not a really heavy suit of armor.
The title is a combination of "Yuusha-Oh", which seems to mean "brave king", and "ookami", the word for wolf (or werewolf). If I am right it's a very clever pun. If I'm wrong, well, what do you expect? My japanese is entirely learned from anime titles.
