Ace Feral, lead singer of the 1980s punk band Screaming Lunch, as he appeared in concert on Feb 6th, 1981.

Feral was best known for his ability to turn any song into a screeching ballad of anarchy, and for his sexual prowess. Of the former there is ample proof; the opening shouts of Anarchists Eat the Weak still bring club patrons to their feet. Twenty years and two car commercials have done nothing to strip away its raw power.

Of the latter, there is less evidence. If even half of what Feral said in interviews were true, half of the people reading this magazine would be his bastards.


I've been listening to a lot of 1980s pop lately. Remember when someone could dress like this onstage and be considered a badass? I miss those days. Really, I do.
